As the venue for the opening ceremony, the new Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium, on the outskirts of Montego Bay, is under construction and is scheduled for completion by November 2006. In addition, Kingston’s Sabina Park with its rich cricketing heritage, is also undergoing major renovations in preparation for March 2007.
